New Wheel Of Time Season 3 Trailer Sets Hype For March 13

A new The Wheel of Time Season 3 trailer was released today and sets the hype for the March 13 premiere approaching. In Season 2 Rand accepted his status as The Dragon Reborn. However, he is still untrained, with no male channelers left to teach him except madmen or Forsaken. Meanwhile the Aiel are searching for ‘he who comes with the Dawn’, and Egwene escaped her enslavement at the hands of the Seanchan.

There is quite a lot to see here. especially action wise. Quite a bit of footage from two big battles that are set to take place in Season 3. One as you can clearly see from the trailer will take place in Tar Valon. Clearly the scene shows an Aes Sedai civil war of sorts. I won’t say anything else due to spoilers. Meanwhile, there is a battle Perrin and some others are involved in against an army of Trollocs.

We also see some little snippets of what everyone else is up to and more than a few shots here are from Tel’Aran’Rhiod, the world of dreams. So far we’ve only spent a small bit of time in that place, but Season 3 will see it become more prominently featured.

I enjoyed this trailer so far and I go into Season 3 with hope it’s a good Season. For me it’s all going to be about how certain events from the book are interpreted and presented. I do hope the show finds an audience. Season 3 should expand the story and deepen it, if they do it right.
