‘Secrets Declassified’ – David Duchovny Hosting Documentary Series for History Channel

After eleven seasons of “The X-Files,” it’s safe to say that David Duchovny knows a little something about the strange mysteries of the world, and he’s embarking on a mission to explore those real-life mysteries in a new History Channel series titled Secrets Declassified.

Duchovny will host and produce the documentary series, THR reports.

The 10-part History Channel series will be diving deep into “the government’s most secretive, strange and mind-blowing activities that have been declassified throughout history.”

“I’ve always been drawn to explorations of the more complicated aspects of our lives, leaning into conversations that dig below the surface and unlock a more interesting story,” Duchovny said in a statement shared by The Hollywood Reporter today. “I’m thrilled to be executive producing and hosting a new History Channel series that’s not afraid to go there.

“We’re telling the incredible stories of government secrets that have only recently come to light. This series proves that secrets can be uncovered, and mysteries can still be unraveled.”

Episode topics will include Area 51 and the real story behind the movie Argo.
