‘Law & Order’ and ‘SVU’ Set Crossover About Attacks on Marginalized Women

“Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” will crossover on April 17 in a case involving a pattern of rape and murder targeting marginalized women, NBC announced on Tuesday.

And for “Law & Order” fans missing the “Organized Crime” spinoff in its regular 10 p.m. slot, the Season 5 premiere will air on NBC as well as stream on its new home on Peacock.

The action starts when Captain Benson (Mariska Hargitay) receives a mysterious phone call that leads detectives to the scene of a brutal murder.

When the SVU and the 2-7 uncover a pattern of rape and murder targeting marginalized women, Carisi and ADA Price team up to charge the suspect with multiple crimes. In the second part of the crossover, “SVU” ADA Dominick Carisi (Peter Scanavino) and Nolan Price (Hugh Dancy) team up to charge the suspect with multiple crimes.

“Organized Crime,” which stars Chris Meloni as Elliot Stabler, will make its Peacock premiere with the first two episodes of Season 5, followed by new episodes each Thursday.

“Found,” which was originally scheduled for the 10 p.m. slot on April 17, will move to Monday, April 14 before returning the following week to its regular time slot.

“Law & Order” and “Law & Order: SVU” episodes will be available to stream next day on Peacock. The two series combined have reached 38.4 million total viewers across linear and digital platforms this season and are having their best seasons ever on Peacock, posting double and triple-digit increases, respectively, vs. last season (35-day viewing), according to NBC.

“Law & Order” also stars Reid Scott, Mehcad Brooks, Odelya Halevi, Maura Tierney and Tony Goldwyn.

The “SVU” cast includes Ice-T, Octavio Pisano, Kevin Kane and Juliana Aidén Martinez.

The cast of “Organized Crime” features Danielle Moné Truitt, Rick Gonzalez, Ainsley Seiger and Dean Norris.
