‘Solar Opposites’ to End With Season 6 at Hulu

“Solar Opposites” is gearing up for its galactic grand finale this fall, when it returns to Hulu for a sixth and final season, the streamer announced Tuesday.

The animated comedy stars Dan Stevens, Thomas Middleditch, Mary Mack and Sean Giambrone as a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Stevens) and Yumyulack (Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Middleditch) and Jesse (Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff. A specific premiere date will be announced later this year.

“When the Solar Opposites family goes broke, they must learn to survive on Earth without any of their sci-fi devices or the massive amounts of video games, snacks and luxury watches they’re used to,” the logline for Season 6 states.

Guest stars in the final installment will include Tiffany Haddish, Kieran Culkin, Christina Hendricks, Ken Marino, Alfred Molina, Natalie Morales, Jerry O’Connell, and Beck Bennett.

“Solar Opposites” is executive produced by Mike McMahan, Josh Bycel and Sydney Ryan and produced by 20th Television Animation.

All five seasons, including a Christmas special, two Halloween specials and a Valentine’s Day special, are available to stream on Hulu.
