GERMANY. Casualfood has won a tender to operate five new food & beverage venues at Stuttgart Airport.

The line-up will feature four Casualfood proprietary brands in Italian-American restaurant Goodman & Filippo; self-service concept Beans & Barley; café/bar Deli Stuttgart; and snack concept Natural.

The offer will be rounded out by a café from international partner Costa Coffee, a first for a German airport.

Goodman & Filippo is among the proprietary Casualfood F&B brands that will feature in the travel restaurateur’s new programme at Stuttgart Airport

Fast-casual concept Goodman & Filippo is already established at three other German airports. Its menu includes classic Italian and American dishes, from pasta varieties to steaks and burgers.

The venue is a full-service restaurant with 70 seats and features a self-service counter. Casualfood said the pasta dish choice will change regularly and the menu will offer food options with seasonal themes.

In addition, a bar concept in the Goodman & Filippo design will be implemented for the first time at an airport.

Self-service and takeaway concept Beans&Barley will offer 100 seats. Its menu will feature all-day dining options, including breakfast.

The gate-side Deli Stuttgart will offer passengers fast and convenient food and drink options

The drinks range will feature numerous coffee specialities, hot or cold brewed, with the usual milk alternatives. There will also be a large selection of beer, from local to international, on tap and from the bottle.

Deli Stuttgart will be located in Terminal 3 and is described by Casualfood as a “classic gate café/bar” serving a wide range of drinks.

It will specialise in an extensive grab and go offer that includes snacks, smoothies and wraps, including vegan and vegetarian options.

Casualfood noted that Deli Stuttgart will use attractive sustainable packaging solutions so that guests can easily take their food with them on their flights.

Casualfood’s Costa Coffee venue will be the first for the British brand in a German airport

Also located in T3 will be Natural, offering sustainably packaged seasonal wraps, fruit and vegetable snacks, nut mixes, protein-rich bars, wholegrain products, smoothies and drinks. There will be various options for vegetarians and vegans.

Located in a public arrivals area, the new Costa Coffee venue will have 70 seats. Its offer includes hot and cold coffee specialities and sandwiches, as well as freshly baked croissants, muffins and cakes.

All Costa Coffee takeaways will be served in sustainable packaging.
