The renovated 380sq m store at France’s tenth-busiest airport features a strong portfolio of beauty, wines & spirits, sunglasses and French gourmet food brands.

FRANCE. Lagardère Travel Retail has officially inaugurated the new Aelia Duty Free shop in Paris-Beauvais Airport Terminal 1.
The travel retailer described the renovated 380sq m store, the latest in a series of commercial improvements at the airport, as more “immersive, fluid and inspiring” than the previous design.
The shop features a strong portfolio of beauty and wines & spirits brands and a space selling products from “the great houses of French gastronomy”. It also incorporates a dedicated sunglasses and accessories area.
Lagardère Travel Retail also highlighted a new shopper experience featuring personalised advice from representatives of its wine merchant, Matcha.
The inauguration event included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Maxim’s de Paris gourmet product tastings and vouchers distributed to shoppers by Lagardère Travel Retail partner Globe.
Paris-Beauvais Airport, despite its brand name, is located in the Hauts-de-France region and 85km north-northwest of Paris near the city of Beauvais. It served 3.1 million passengers in 2024, making it the tenth-busiest airport in France.
