First ‘Freakier Friday’ Trailer Sees Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis Swap Bodies Again – But Not With Each Other

The first trailer for “Freakier Friday” has arrived, and once again, Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are in new bodies. At least this time they got a warning though.

In the footage, we see Anna (Lohan) and Tess (Curtis) together again as themselves for the time being. They’re paying a visit to a fortune teller (played by Vanessa Bayer), who incredulously notes that their life lines “have intersected before.”

“You’ve walked in each other’s path,” she says. “You learned a lesson. A lesson that may serve you again.”

Of course, at that, the two women promptly “nope” out as hard and as fast as they can. You can watch the footage above.

Sadly, denial can’t stop what’s coming, as the women swap bodies once again — but this time, not with each other. When they wake, Anna realizes she’s switched with her daughter, and Tess has switched with her granddaughter.

Naturally, they try to explain to the girls that this has happened before, and how to handle it. The answer? Pretend to be each other.

The trailer also features the return of Chad Michael Murray’s Jake….something (apparently, we’ll find out his last name in this film), a brief glimpse at Lohan back onstage with her fictional band Pink Slip, and an even briefer glimpse of Elaine Hendrix, marking a little “The Parent Trap” reunion.

“Freakier Friday” hits theaters on August 8.
