‘Fear Street: Prom Queen’ Shadyside Prom Immersive Experience Slashes Into Los Angeles

Party like it’s 1988 at Fear Street: Prom Queen‘s Shadyside High Senior Prom ’88 immersive experience.

Netflix is transforming Los Angeles’ historic Fonda Theatre into Shadyside High School for an interactive prom-themed event where a killer is on the loose.

As guests try their very best to have the time of their lives at the high school event of the year, no amount of revelry can mask the fact that prom queen contenders are disappearing, body parts are popping up all over, and the sights and sounds of gory violence are closing in.

Shows take place on May 17 (1:00pm, 2:15pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:45pm, 8:00pm), May 18 (12:00pm, 1:15pm, 2:30pm, 4:00pm), and May 19 (1:00pm, 2:15pm, 3:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:45pm, 8:00pm).

Free tickets are available now. Each slot takes approximately 45 minutes to complete, and ’80s prom attire is encouraged.

Fear Street: Prom Queen slashes onto Netflix on May 23.

Based on R.L. Stine‘s 1992 Fear Street novel The Prom Queen, Matt Palmer (Calibre) directs from a script he co-wrote with Donald McLeary.

Prom season at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s wolfpack of It Girls is busy with its usual sweet and vicious campaigns for the crown. But when a gutsy outsider is unexpectedly nominated to the court, and the other girls start mysteriously disappearing, the class of ’88 is suddenly in for one hell of a prom night.

India Fowler (“The Agency”), Suzanna Son (Red Rocket), Fina Strazza (“Paper Girls”), Chris Klein (American Pie), David Iacono (“Dead Boy Detectives”), Ella Rubin (Until Dawn), Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie), Lili Taylor (The Conjuring), and Katherine Waterston (Alien: Covenant) star.

Darrin Baker (“The Strain”), Rebecca Ablack (“Ginny & Georgia”), Ilan O’Driscoll, Damian Romeo (“Ginny & Georgia”), Dakota Taylor (“Sullivan’s Crossing”), Eden Summer Gilmore (“Nancy Drew”), Brennan Clost (“Tiny Pretty Things”), Cecilia Lee, and Ryan Rosery (“Mayor of Kingstown”) round out the cast.
