Dezeen x ASUS: Design You Can Feel
8 to 13 April
Design You Can Feel is an exhibition created by technology brand ASUS in collaboration with Dezeen, that will spotlight the thinking behind the brand's products, including its Zenbook laptops.
The exhibition will feature a specially commissioned aluminium sculpture by Studio INI, which will respond to visitors in the space by translating their movements using a model using artificial intelligence (AI).
The installation will be informed by the Zenbook laptop and incorporates ASUS' proprietary Ceraluminum material, which will also be used on four limited-edition versions of the device.
Located at 1920s gallery Galleria Meravigli, the event is open from 10:00am to 6:00pm from 8 to 13 April and is free to attend.
Dezeen x Blond and Harry's – Double Vision panel discussion
Tuesday 8 April
Dezeen has partnered with London-based industrial design studio Blond and New York-based grooming brand Harry's to host a panel discussion moderated by Dezeen co-CEO Hobson.
The talk invites designer Abbie Adams, researcher Helen Job, Blond founder James Melia and Harry's head of design Ryan Dougherty, to discuss Blond and Harry's Double Vision exhibition and the use of AI in design.
Taking place at Via Palermo 8, the exhibition follows the development of two versions of the same product: one designed by Blond using AI and the other by Harry's using industrial design techniques.
Dezeen will also be making a video about the exhibition.
Videos spotlighting exhibitions and installations from across Milan
Dezeen Studio will be producing videos documenting exhibitions, installation and activations taking place during this year's Milan design week.
Alongside the Blond x Harry's content, we're creating a video for IKEA to showcase its exhibition and event space that celebrate 30 years since the brand debuted at the festival.
Titled Do Something Change Everything the interactive exhibition seeks to demonstrate its Democratic Design initiative and present its latest Stockholm 2025 collection.
We're also recording kitchen brand V-Zug's studio space (pictured above) during the week, capturing the work of Italian architect Elisa Ossino, who has created an installation for the brand.
Ossion will introduce tactile, auditory and visual elements to the installation, encouraging visitors to engage with the brand's products.
Czech glass-making brand Lasvit will open its largest exhibition to date in Milan, highlighted in a video by Dezeen that looks at the dynamic between water, light and well-being.
Dezeen is also collaborating with Technogym to create a video focused on home fitness brand's The Art of Wellness exhibition.
The video will explore the exhibition, which considers the history of the wellness industry from the early examples of exercise equipment to contemporary technology-driven tools.
