Sony has added another game to the growing list of third-party PS Plus Premium classics with trophies. The latest addition is LucasArts’ 2006 game, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy, which comes with a trophy set each for PS5 and PS4.
List of Third-Party PS Plus Classics With Trophies Continues to Grow
Both of Lego Star Wars 2’s PS4 and PS5 trophy lists are identical, with a Platinum to pop as a reward for completing everything. There are some story-based trophies, collectibles-based trophies, and one or two challenge trophies. The lists seem pretty straightforward.
Lego Star Wars 2 was added to PS Plus Premium back in June 2024. Although the original game released on both the PS2 and PSP, the PS Plus version is a port of the handheld copy. Sony has been increasingly bringing PS2 classics to PS Plus, but it’s unlikely that Lego Star Wars 2 will be updated with the PS2 version.
That said, Sony’s efforts to bring trophies to previously released third-party classics is commendable. These patches have been rolling out fairly regularly, but sadly, none for Bandai Namco Games including Tekken 2.
As a reminder, Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is available to purchase separately via the PS Store, so you don’t need a Premium membership to dabble into it.
