‘Tulsa King’ Renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+

“Tulsa King” will return for a third season at Paramount+.

The Sylvester Stallone-led series has been renewed for Season 3 at Paramount+, the streamer announced Tuesday. Production on the new installment begins this week in Atlanta and Oklahoma.

The news comes months after “Tulsa King” aired its Season 2 finale in November 2024, which capped off the 10-episode season which debuted on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024, nearly two years after the hit show first premiered in November 2022.

In “Tulsa King,” Stallone stars as Dwight “The General” Manfredi. Season 2 followed “The General” and his crew as they encountered new enemies when they encroached on nemesis territory in Tulsa, per the official synopsis.

“Tulsa King” debuted its second season to 21.1 million streaming viewers for its premiere episode, ranking at the time as the most-watched global premiere for any series in Paramount+ history.

During its second season, “Tulsa King” ranked within the top 10 most-watched SVOD original series in Q4 of 2024 alongside Taylor Sheridan’s Paramount+ series “Landman” and “Lioness,” according to Nielsen. On social media, “Tulsa King” drove 159 million views — up 894% from Season 1 — and 6.1 million engagements — up 553% from last year.

The Season 3 renewal for “Tulsa King” comes less than a week after Paramount+ renewed “Landman” for a second season. The premiere episode of “Landman,” which scored 35 million streaming viewers globally, outpaced the debut of “Tulsa King” Season 2 to become the most-watched premiere episode in the history of Paramount+.

Stallone and Sheridan serve as executive producers for “Tulsa King” alongside Dave Erickson, who also serves as showrunner, as well as David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Braden Aftergood, Jim McKay, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich and Keith Cox. “Tulsa King” is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios.
