Dark Star Pictures has released the trailer for the upcoming sports drama Riley. The story centers on Dakota Riley (Jake Holley), “a star high school football player who struggles with his sexuality, hiding his true feelings while navigating a relationship with a girlfriend.”In the story, “After being exposed, he is forced to confront his denial and accept his true self, ultimately finding peace and coming to terms with his identity.This is a very different kind of film than we’re used to seeing from Dark Star Pictures, which mostly distributes horror films. Riley is written and directed by Benjamin Howard, making his feature directorial debut and it also stars Connor Storrie, Riley Quinn Scott, Colin McCalla, Rib Hillis.
