SINGAPORE. Spanish wine, spirits and gourmet food specialist Osborne is set to showcase its extensive brand portfolio at the upcoming TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition in Singapore (Basement2, G19).

The company’s participation underscores its regional growth strategy, featuring five premium brands selected for their strong appeal in Asians market, including Ham Cinco Jotas, Gin Nordés and Gin Gold, Carlos I brandies and Montecillo Wines.

Nordés Gin is ready to make waves at the Singapore show, offering a refreshing twist on the gin experience with its botanical blend

The Montecillo range features a travel retail-exclusive Albariño (D.O. Rías Baixas), part of the Osborne project to highlight premium Spanish wine regions beyond Rioja.

The stand will also present Viña Monty Wines, Caviar Riofrío, Ron Burlanegra and Osborne Port, along with the regional market launch of Nordés’ White and Red Vermouths.

Osborne Group Global Travel Retail Manager Cathy Rolland said: “Osborne is known as the ambassador of Spanish gastronomy, and we are more than ready to share that status with current and future retailing partners in the Asia Pacific market.”

Rolland described Osborne as a relatively newcomer in Asian travel retail, building strategic collaborations for example in South Korean with Lotte Duty Free, Shinsegae Duty Free, The Shilla Duty Free and JTO Duty Free last year.

She said: “We see the Asia Pacific market as one full of opportunities for growth and the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition offers the ideal location to outline our regional strategy and to highlight the brands we know will suit discerning consumers.”

Founded in 1772, Osborne is one of Europe’s oldest family-run businesses, built on a tradition of artisanal food and drink production. The company leverages its 250-year legacy to offer products that reflect authenticity and prestige, underscoring its mission of positioning Spanish gastronomy on the global stage.

Rolland said: “We offer Spanish gastronomy with a sustainable outlook and, of course, there is nothing more sustainable than a family.”

She also highlighted the strong performance of Osborne brands in the Chinese domestic market. “China is already our number one international market for the Cinco Jotas Iberian ham brand, and there’s clearly a big opportunity to elevate its presence in Asian airports and across the broader travel retail channel in Asia.”

Nordés Gin has also been ranked as the top-selling premium gin in China, the company claimed.

Rolland commented: “This speaks volumes about how well it resonates with local consumers. Its distinctive Galician character and refreshing taste profile make it stand out in a very competitive category. We see continued growth opportunities, both in domestic markets and especially in travel retail not just in China but across the entire Asia Pacific region.

“In addition, we also offer a complete range of wines under our Montecillo and Viña Monty brands, as well as a portfolio of brandies with our Carlos I range. These heritage brands have strong storytelling potential and fit perfectly with the growing demand for premium, authentic, and experience-driven products.”

Osborne’s famous Osborne Bull, a symbol deeply rooted in Spanish culture, is currently featuring in Madrid and Jerez airports with Avolta this year.

The updated Osborne Bull will also be a centrepiece of the company’s presentation at the Singapore show.

Ham Cinco Jotas

Under the ‘pure genius’ tagline, Cinco Jotas is a producer of 100% acorn-fed Iberian ham, aged for up to five years by skilled artisans, setting a standard for quality in its category.

Gin Nordés

Described as “Galicia in a bottle”, Nordés delivers a sensory experience with its fresh, herbal aroma and balanced white fruit notes.

Gin Gold

Gin Gold is distilled and macerated using traditional methods. Its purity is achieved through five distillations of French grain alcohol, while Spanish tangerines impart a vibrant citrus intensity.

Montecillo

Founded in 1870, Bodegas Montecillo is the third oldest winery in Rioja and the first in Fuenmayor.

The winery continues to honour the region’s winemaking traditions.

Aged for at least two years in French oak barrels and more than 40 months in the bottle, Montecillo Gran Reserva captures the essence of Rioja. The wine offers a rich complexity, featuring smooth tannins and delicate notes of resin and candied fruit.

Carlos I

Known for its distinctive quality and aromatic depth, this brandy is a result of time and premium grape spirits.

Viña Monty

Viña Monty Graciano is a rare red variety, prized for its vibrant acidity and drought resistance.

This wine showcases the ageing potential of Graciano in Rioja, with Decanter awarding it ‘Best in Show’ in 2024 with a score of 97 points, ranking it among the top 50 wines out of more than 18,000 entries.

It was the only Rioja wine to make the list and the first 100% Graciano to achieve this distinction. ✈
