The Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 "Bred" May Be Returning This Holiday Season

Jordan Brand might be blessing Air Jordan 1 aficionados this holiday season: rumors of a fall/winter re-release of the Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 "Bred" are beginning to swirl. First reported by Sneaker News, these rumors indicate that the "Bred" will be back, albeit with a different SKU than the pair that released around NBA All-Star Weekend in February. The Hi '85 is the most true-to-the-original reproduction of a 1985 Air Jordan 1 to date, and when the "Bred" returned to market in February, it was only available at 23 stores (not even SNKRS), reportedly limited to a scant 10,000 pairs, and priced at $250 USD. Though it's carte blanche in modern sneaker fandom to complain about how "nothing is sacred" and decry iconic retros being made widely available, social media was ablaze with gripes from sneaker lovers who couldn't secure a pair due to the limited distribution. However, those same sneakerheads may well have a chance to have their cake and eat it too later this year. It must be noted, though, that it's very uncommon practice for a large sneaker company to reissue the same shoe with a different SKU less than a year after the inital release, implying that this second SKU may well be for an altered version, or another colorway entirely. Nevertheless, stay tuned for updates on this potential Air Jordan 1 Hi '85 "Bred" restock as they're made available. It may release on October 18, 2025, Jordan Brand's yearly celebration of "Banned Day."Click here to view full gallery at Hypebeast
