‘The White Lotus’ Bests ‘1923’ and ‘Reacher’ on Streaming Top 10 | Charts
Mike White's award-winning hit is back at No. 1 for the third week in a row The post ‘The White Lotus’ Bests ‘1923’ and ‘Reacher’ on Streaming Top 10 | Charts appeared first on TheWrap.

“The White Lotus” was a surprise hit when it first arrived back in 2021, offering viewers a look at luxury travel while many remained stuck at home deep into the COVID-19 pandemic.
Now well into its third season, “The White Lotus” is a certified hit series, sitting atop the Samba TV Weekly Wrap Report’s streaming chart for the third consecutive week.
The multi-week run at the top of the chart puts “The White Lotus” in the illustrious company of Max’s gigantic IP titles like “House of the Dragon,” “The Penguin,” and “Dune: Prophecy.” Not bad for a show written entirely by just one person, creator Mike White.
The show following “The White Lotus” is another rare thing in TV, as it is both the product of an IP juggernaut and from the mind of a single creator. That show is “1923” on Paramount+. The western series is one of many from the mind of creator Taylor Sheridan, and is also a prequel series to his original hit “Yellowstone.”
Speaking of IP, “Reacher,” adapted from the Lee Child book series, is No. 3 this week as Amazon Prime Video continues to roll out the action series’ latest season. It’s followed by “Running Point,” the Kate Hudson-led Netflix comedy series.
No. 5 is “Paradise,” a certified hit series for Hulu that hung around the chart for almost the duration of its run. The thriller moves up two spots this week, thanks to its March 4 season finale.
Netflix is responsible for the next four entries, starting with “Zero Day” at No. 6. The miniseries has been on the chart for three straight weeks, showing that having a legendary actor like Robert De Niro can draw eyeballs, even when the consensus is that the show itself is subpar.
“Love is Blind” comes in at No. 7. It’s followed by “Midnight in the Switchgrass,” a 2021 crime thriller that was panned upon its initial release but has found new life after being added to the Netflix library. No. 9 is “Despicable Me 4,” with the minions continuing to own the screens of families across the nation.
Finally, “The Pitt” gives Max two bookends on this week’s chart. While the hospital drama hasn’t soared quite as high as “The White Lotus,” it has maintained a chart presence throughout its first season.
Over on linear, Americans were drawn to President Trump’s first televised congressional address of his term after close to 50 days of chaotic activity upending departments and reality-show-level cabinet appointments.
The next entry on our chart belongs to a less contentious American reality, with “American Idol” placing at No. 2.
On the scripted side, chart mainstays “Tracker” (No. 3), “Chicago Med” (No. 4), and “Chicago Fire” (No. 6) all make appearances. New this week, however, are two CBS series: “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage” at No. 9, the latest installment from the “Big Bang” franchise, and “Matlock” at No. 10.
Three airings of “Wheel of Fortune” round out the week, coming in at No. 5, No. 7 and No. 8.
The Wrap Report provides an exclusive first look at the most watched movies and TV series from the past week across both streaming and linear television sourced from viewership trends collected from Samba TV’s panel of more than 3 million households, balanced to the U.S. Census.
