‘The White Lotus’ Actress Simona Tabasco Joins Horror-Thriller ‘Corporate Retreat’

Simona Tabasco (“The White Lotus,” Immaculate) have been cast in the satirical horror-thriller Corporate Retreat, Variety reports.

She joins the joins the previously announced Lilly Krug (Plane), Rosanna Arquette (Pulp Fiction), Ashton Sanders (Moonlight), and Alan Ruck (Ferris Bueller’s Day Off).

Described as “a gory mix of The Menu and Saw,” the film centers around a group of corporate executives whose team-bonding trip turns into a bloody fight for survival against a vengeful retreat leader.

Principal photography is set to begin in June with Aaron Fisher (Inside the Rain) directing from a script he co-wrote with Kerri Lee Romeo.

Uri Singer (White Noise, Experimenter) is producing via his Passage Pictures.

“After watching Simona’s electrifying performance in ‘White Lotus,’ it became instantly evident that she is a rising star. We are thrilled about the charisma and talent she adds to our ensemble,” said singer, who also praised Tabasco’s “passion as an artist and the dedication she brings to every role.”
