SUPERMAN Skipped a Super Bowl TV Spot in Favor of This Silly Green Lantern Joke Promo
A lot of DC fans were expecting to see a new Superman trailer released during the Super Bowl yesterday, instead they opted to shared a video of James Gunn talking about his rescue dog that inspired Krypto in the movie, and a silly Green Lantern joke promo.The video features Nathan Fillion's Guy Gardner fixing his infamous hair, with the caption "the only bowl I need."I guess Warner Bros. didn’t want to pay the hefty price tag for a Super Bowl spot. But, in a night filled with exciting new movie trailers, it would’ve been nice to see something exciting and new from Superman, even if it wasn’t aired during the game. Regardless, the Green Lantern video is sure to amuse some fans, with Fillion leaning into the humor of this comic accurate, yet ridiculous character desgin. Noting this bowl as a touch down.
