Sebadoh announce 1st NYC show in 6 years; Lou Barlow touring with Bobby Bare Jr

Sebadoh haven’t toured North America since 2019 when they released Act Surprised. They were supposed to tour in spring of 2020, but the pandemic put the kibosh on that. There have been no tour announcements for the trio, but they will be playing their first NYC show in six years at Brooklyn Bowl on September 19. Is there a fall tour being planned? A new album? Stay tuned.

Tickets for Brooklyn Bowl go on presale on Thursday, April 17 at 11 AM (pw: SEBADOHBOWL) and go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 18 at 10 AM.

Before that, Lou Barlow will be on a short Northeast tour in May with Bobby Bare Jr (Guided by Voices) where they will be on stage together, taking turns playing songs.  There’s an NYC show at Mercury Lounge on May 5, as well as stops in Providence, Somerville, and Southbury, CT.
