SAS and Scandic announced back in October last year (read more here) that they would launch the Friends With Benefits program in the first quarter of 2025 (now already gone).
The Friend with Benefits would allow SAS and Scandic members to link their accounts, match tiers, and move points freely between accounts, and it appears that this is about to go live.

Scandic Friends Level Benefits:
Conclusion
This partnership should have gone live already a month ago, but it appears to have been delayed by a month.
These Scandic Friends benefits are extremely weak compared to even Strawberry Hotels’ ones, which are their competitor in the Nordics.
Remember that Scandic used to be part of Hilton, for a brief time, and Scandic still manages Hilton hotels in Finland.
I mean, if you have a partnership between a hotel and an airline, shouldn’t the benefits be meaningful for both parties? I feel that this SAS and Scandic partnership favors Friends over EuroBonus members.
