A24 has revealed a very strange promo featurette for the indie comedy titled Friendship, an awkward film about friends from filmmaker Andrew DeYoung. Ready to open in theaters in May with final release dates set. This first premiered at TIFF 2024 last fall in Toronto, and it also screened at the 2025 SXSW Film Festival in March. Suburban dad Craig falls hard for his charismatic new neighbor, as Craig's attempts to make an adult male friend threaten to ruin both of their lives. A24 describes it as "a laugh-until-you-cry nightmare comedy about male bonding gone awry." Starring Tim Robinson as Craig, Kate Mara, Jack Dylan Grazer, Eric Rahill as Mike, and Paul Rudd as Brian. This earned rave reviews at TIFF last year - calling this "I Love You, Man for sickos." This featurette includes three actors – Rudd, Robinson and Rahill – sitting with director Andrew DeYoung in a completely dark room.
