New Jedi Order
Speaking at the SXSW premiere of “We Bury the Dead,” actress Daisy Ridley says Kathleen Kennedy is “very involved” in the forthcoming “New Jedi Order” film, her comments in response to all the talk about Kennedy’s tenure at Lucasfilm over the next few years.

Ridley says: “I believe that she’s very involved. I think there was reporting that was not true. So yeah, very [involved].” As for when filming on the project will begin, she can only say: “I don’t know”. [Source: The Direct]

A Big Bold Beautiful Journey
Sony Pictures has pushed back its Colin Farrell and Margot Robbie-led romance drama “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” by four months – moving it from May 9th to September 19th. Lily Rabe, Jodie Turner-Smith, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Hamish Linklater co-star.

The Kogonada-directed film is dubbed an imaginative tale of two strangers and the unbelievable journey that connects them. A delay was expected as less than two months out there has been no official stills or trailer released from the film. [Source: THR]

Scream 7
Michelle Randolph (“Landman,” “1923”) and Jimmy Tatro (“You’re Cordially Invited,” “Theater Camp”) have joined the cast of “Scream 7” at Spyglass Media Group and Paramount Pictures. Kevin Williamson directs the project

The Neighborhood
CBS has renewed the Cedric the Entertainer-led multi-camera comedy “The Neighborhood” for an eighth and final season. That final season will air during the 2025-2026 broadcast season. Max Greenfield, Beth Behrs, Tichina Arnold, Sheaun McKinney, Marcel Spears and Skye Townsend co-star in the series which is averaging 6.4 million viewers per episode in Live+35 multiplatform viewing. Neighborhood Watch
RLJE Films has acquired the crime thriller “Neighborhood Watch” starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Jack Quaid and Malin Akerman. Duncan Skiles helms the film which will hit cinemas and on demand on April 25th.

Quaid plays a man grappling with mental illness who is convinced he has witnessed an abduction. When the cops refuse to believe him, he seeks the help of his neighbor Ed (Morgan), a retired security guard with a troubled past. Check out some new photos from it below. [Source: Variety]

Snow White
Disney has premiered a first look clip, TV spot and posters to announce that tickets for the live-action Disney remake of “Snow White” are now on sale ahead of the film’s opening on March 21st. Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot co-star in the film directed by Marc Webb.
