PS5, PS4 Console Exclusive Announced in 2020 Still Missing

A PS5, PS4 console exclusive is nowhere to be seen 10 years after its initial announcement and almost five years after being showcased during the PlayStation 5 reveal event. Action-adventure game Little Devil Inside — once a highly-anticipated game by Neostream Interactive — is feared dead despite reassurances from the studio.

Little Devil Inside was announced as a multiplatform Kickstarter project in April 2015 with an initial release window of fall 2016. In June 2020, it appeared at the PlayStation 5 reveal event as a timed PS5, PS4 console exclusive expected to launch simultaneously with PC.

The elusive title continued to slip and received more release windows than we can count with our fingers, but since April 2024, updates from the developer have ceased.

In February 2024, following speculations, Neostream Interactive published a chunk of gameplay footage on its YouTube channel. In its last Kickstarter update dated April 2024, the developer pledged to provide “periodic updates on what we have worked on over the past starting with the weapon upgrade design.” “We’ll be back with more,” Neostream promised, never to be heard from again.

Under the post are comments left by disgruntled backers as recently this week. “Really regret backing this,” wrote one backer. “From 2015 to 2025 and you’re STILL NOT DONE?!” asked another.

A shame, really. Little Devil Inside looked promising. But at this point, we’ll be surprised if it ever releases.
