New Gameplay Trailer Released for ‘FBC: Firebreak’; Special Livestream Event Set for April 24 [Watch]

Remedy Entertainment recently unveiled a new gameplay trailer for FBC: Firebreak, as well as announcing that the development team will host a special livestream on April 24 at 10 AM PST / 6 PM GMT / 8 PM EEST, offering fans a chance to learn more about the game ahead of its summer release, key launch details and future plans. Meanwhile, the trailer, entitled ‘Hazards of the Job’, showcases some of the dangers that players will have to face and contain in the game.

FBC: Firebreak is a cooperative first-person shooter set within a mysterious federal agency under assault by otherworldly forces. As a years-long siege on the agency’s headquarters reaches its boiling point, only Firebreak—the Bureau’s most versatile unit—has the gear and the guts to plunge into the building’s strangest crises, restore order, and blast their way back from the brink.

The title immerses players in a strange and unpredictable world where Firebreakers confront crises together within the paranatural-infested halls of the Oldest House. To fend off the otherworldly threats, players use a variety of tools and abilities. Customizable “Crisis Kits” enables players to choose their weapons, tools, and powerful paranatural augments, which are strange items with very unique powers that can alter the course of the battle.

The spin-off entry in the Control universe is currently in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
