Apple Original Films and Warner Bros. Pictures have premiered a new three-minute featurette for the Brad Pitt-led F1 movie “F1” with the clip exploring how they aim to put viewers right in the driver’s seat.
Oscar winner Pitt stars as a former driver who returns to Formula 1, alongside Damson Idris (“Snowfall”) as his teammate on APXGP, a fictional team on the grid.
Oscar nominee Kerry Condon, Oscar winner Javier Bardem, Emmy winner Tobias Menzies, Emmy nominee Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo co-star.
The feature has been shot during actual Grand Prix weekends as the team competes against the titans of the sport in full collaboration with Formula 1 and the F1 community.
Joseph Kosinski (“Top Gun: Maverick”) directs and produces the feature alongside Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, Pitt, Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner and Sir Lewis Hamilton.
Bruckheimer Films, Plan B Entertainment and Dawn Apollo Films are producing the project for Apple Original Films.
Warner Bros. Pictures will handle the theatrical and IMAX run which hits cinemas in North America on June 27th and internationally starts its rollout that week.
