Dezeen Showroom: Italian studio E-ggs and design brand Miniforms used steam-bent timber to create distinctive forms for this range of tables, characterised by crimped wooden bases.
The Nami tables' wavy wooden bases are paired with various tabletop options, including circular, rectangular and barrel-shaped surfaces.
Aiming to create a "harmonic and sinuous" yet sturdy form for the bent bases, several woods were tested during the design process.
"Every wood has its own characteristics, so we had to respect them and also find the perfect match," said Miniforms.
The playful concept of Nami is maintained with a selection of thirteen water-based colours and eleven different sizes for the tables.
Options for a porcelain stoneware or marble top are also available, which Miniforms say achieves a "refined style" in any environment.
