Madonna has praised Sabrina Carpenter’s recent Vogue cover. Check out the posts below.
The ‘Espresso’ artist appears on the front of the March 2025 issue of the iconic fashion and lifestyle magazine. Many fans have noticed that the images bear a striking resemblance to Madonna’s Vanity Fair shoot from 1991.
Carpenter’s Vogue spread was even shot by the Queen Of Pop’s longtime collaborator, photographer Steven Meisel, who also helmed the latter’s aforementioned Vanity Fair cover.
In the photos, Carpenter poses in a light blue satin cone bra corset mini dress designed by Dolce & Gabbana. This look sparked comparisons to Madonna’s signature Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra from her ‘Blond Ambition’ tour in 1990.
Madge seemingly clocked the reference, and commented on Carpenter’s Instagram post of her Vogue cover. “Is this a Valentine’s present to me?” she jokingly asked, before adding the side-eyeing emoji and a light blue love heart.
