Kelly Clarkson Has Been Missing From Her Show For A Week With No Explanation

_{Kelly Clarkson has been consistently hosting her talk show since it premiered in 2019 and typically lets her viewers know if she won’t be on the program, but she’s been absent from her hosting duties since early March with no explanation.}

_{It has almost been a week since the 42-year-old host of The Kelly Clarkson Show missed her first of many episodes, in which actor Simu Liu agreed to host. Liu, 35, who had previously hosted the show in 2022, was originally supposed to be a guest on the episode. He explained the situation to confused viewers and told them, “Kelly isn’t able to make it today. We’re sending her our very best.” He then went on to admit, “I did not know that I was doing this until about five minutes ago when I arrived to promote my new movie Last Breath.”}

_{Clarkson returned to the show the following day and didn’t mention her absence at all during the episodes that aired on Tuesday, March 4, and Wednesday, March 5. The “Since U Been Gone” singer has been absent every following day, with a number of celebrities taking on hosting duties including comedian Roy Wood Jr., Wanda Sykes, Josh Groban, Smokey Robinson, and Brooke Shields, to name a few.}
