Hurray for the Riff Raff shares “This Is Not a Scene, It’s a Pyramid Scheme!,” adds new shows to tour

Hurray for the Riff Raff released their fantastic new album The Past Is Still Alive last year, and they’ve now followed it with a new single, the strummy “This Is Not a Scene, It’s a Pyramid Scheme!” Alynda Segarra is backed by Phil Cook (organ), Yan Westerlund (drums), Hand Habits’ Meg Duffy (electric guitar), and Brad Cook (bass) on the track, which references Billy the Kid, Calamity Jane, Darby Crash, and Frida Kahlo. Hurray for the Riff Raff already had 2025 shows lined up supporting Bright Eyes and Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman, and they’ve added a new headlining run to their schedule, which includes shows with Merce Lemon opening. See all dates below.

The newly added shows include a Woodstock, NY show at Levon Helm Studios on June 22, and a Jersey City, NJ show at White Eagle Hall on July 23. Tickets to all new dates go on sale Friday, February 21 at 10 AM local time, with an artist presale starting today at 11 AM local time (use the password PYRAMIDSCHEME).
