Here’s every song on ‘The Last Of Us’ season 2 soundtrack

The Last of Us season 2 is taking deeper us into the post-apocalyptic world of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey) and, after just two episodes, some major shocks have already been revealed.

The latest season has introduces a number of new characters, including ones from the games and others created purely for the hit HBO series. From Kaitlyn Dever’s Abby to Isabel Merced’s Dina, these new faces are all playing a pivotal role in shaping Ellie’s character arc.

In The Last of Us: Part II (the game in which the series is based), Ellie is a songwriter who is passionate about her music. Appropriately, the second season features a number of songs which offer an insight into her character. Many of them were also used in the game itself.

At the time of writing, just two episodes of the latest season have aired, so the below list only features the songs from those instalments.

Episode 1 – Future Days

The Last of Us season 2’s opening two episodes have been heavily praised by fans, while NME has given the entire season a glowing four-star review, writing: “At its best, The Last Of Us is unsettling enough to make you question your own hypothetical moral code… This show doesn’t just go deep narratively – it also cuts deep emotionally.”

In March, Pascal warned fans of the emotional impact of the second season, saying that it would be “fucking heartbreaking”.
