Grand Staircase at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in London, England
In 1996, the Spice Girls released the permanent ear worm “Wannabe,” with a music video that shows them wreaking havoc in the fancy St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, dancing on its grand old staircase. Fans of the British girl group—which consists of Scary, Sporty, Baby, Ginger, and Posh—will instantly recognize the spot and perhaps feel compelled to dance upon the steps. The hotel was first opened in 1876, then called the Midland Grand Hotel, and reopened in 2011 after extensive renovations.
