The partnership between existing commercial concessions manager Fraport USA and Ernst Valery Investment Corporation (EVI) has gained a 23-year contract.

USA. Fraport Baltimore Partnership has been awarded a 23-year contract with the Maryland Aviation Administration to redevelop, renovate, lease and manage the retail, restaurant and commercial services at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport. The award followed a competitive solicitation process by the Maryland Department of Transportation.

Fraport USA was already the developer and manager of the retail and F&B programme at the airport since 2004. It extends its tenure under a partnership with Ernst Valery Investment Corporation.

Members of the partnership have decades of experience successfully managing concessions programmes at BWI Marshall and other major US airports,” said Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul J. Wiedefeld.

Fraport USA is the developer and/or manager of commercial programmes at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Terminal 5 at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport, Nashville International Airport, Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal B, Ronald Reagan National Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport. ✈
