RIYADH – flynas, leading low-cost airline in the world and the best LCC in the Middle East announced taking delivery of its second new A320neo aircraft in 2025, which arrived at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. Simultaneously, the Saudi Arabian carrier boosted the seating capacity for domestic and international flights during the month of Ramadan this year to around 1.5 million seats.
flynas operations in Ramadan include starting a new route between Madinah and Karachi in Pakistan with two weekly direct flights, aiming to reinforce the number of pilgrims and visitors to the holy mosques in Mecca and Madinah.
flynas fleet now consists of 61 aircraft, of which 53 are A320neo, 4 are A320ceo, and 4 are wide-body A330.
On the sidelines of the Farnborough Airshow 2024 in London, flynas affirmed its intention to move forward in upscaling its fleet and to become the largest owner of modern aircraft in the region, as it signed a landmark purchase order of 160 new Airbus aircraft, including 30 wide-body A330neo aircraft and 130 narrow-body A320 family aircraft, doubling its orders volume to 280 Airbus aircraft within seven years, to be one of the largest aircraft purchase order books in the region.
