Diptyque expands Orphéon collection with limited-edition fragrance and home innovations
Diptyque continues to build upon the legacy of the Parisian Orphéon club, offering a cross-category line that blends heritage and craftsmanship.

Luxury fragrance house Diptyque has unveiled a series of limited-edition releases expanding its Orphéon collection.
The extended range draws inspiration from the vibrant jazz culture Paris in the 1960s. It is now available in global travel retail.
The collection, which pays homage to the Saint-Germain quarter’s creative energy, includes a newly designed 75ml Eau de Parfum set, a smaller 30ml format and a duo of scented candles.
Orphéon is a scent that captures the atmosphere of the historic Orphéon jazz club frequented by the Diptyque founders.
The Orphéon fragrance offers notes of cedar, tonka bean, juniper berries and jasmine, evoking the club’s warm and smoky ambiance.
The centrepiece of the expanded Orphéon line is a 75ml Eau de Parfum presented in a handcrafted oak wood case.
Designed to resemble a drinks cabinet, the case features mirrored doors and a hand-carved panoramic illustration depicting Parisian nightlife.
The special edition also introduces a redesigned label in deep blue with silver highlights. This pays homage to the last remaining architectural element of the original Orphéon club, which can still be found in Diptyque’s boutique on Boulevard Saint-Germain.
In addition, Diptyque has introduced a travel-friendly 30ml Eau de Parfum format and a limited-edition candle set pairing Narguilé and Genévrier (juniper). This combination is designed to replicate the ambiance of the Orphéon club.
Honouring Diptyque’s origins
Orphéon holds particular significance for Diptyque as it was located next to the original boutique founded in 1961 by Founders Desmond Knox-Leet, Yves Coueslant and Christiane Gautrot.
The club was a meeting place for intellectuals and artists, influencing the Maison’s early creative direction.
