Demo Available Now for New Psychological Horror Game ‘Baptiste’ [Trailer]

Backrooms Level X publishers Firenut Games keep on adding to their catalogue of games coming this year, announcing their co-development with Digital Dream on Baptiste, a new psychological horror game that features a creepy mansion and an even creepier puppet.

Baptiste tells the story of a family devastated by tragedy. After losing her husband, Sara and her son, Tom, seek a new start at Jagged Shore Cliff, a remote location situated high on a cliff in the United Kingdom. As they explore their mysterious new house, they discover a dusty cabinet that holds Baptiste, a doll locked behind the glass. Attached to the cabinet is an ominous warning: “Never release this from its glass prison.”

Obviously, as these things go, the doll is freed, and while you search the mansion for answers, Baptiste is searching for you.

As Tom, you explore the mansion, uncovering gruesome secrets that will reveal a story of pain and horror that is “beyond belief.” The developers have emphasized the game’s atmosphere, where darkness will become your most feared enemy, and where beauty and terror coexist.

Baptiste aims to launch for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later this year.
