Death Cab for Cutie add new shows to ‘Plans’ 20th anniversary tour

Earlier this week, Death Cab for Cutie announced a three-city tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of their major label debut, 2005’s Plans. Now that presales have begun, they’ve added additional dates in two cities: Chicago (August 6 at The Chicago Theatre) and NYC (August 12 at Brooklyn Paramount). Tickets for all dates go on sale to the general public on Friday, November 14 at 10 AM local time. The Chicago shows are with Nation of Language, and the NYC shows are with longtime Ben Gibbard collaborators The American Analog Set; it’ll be their first NYC shows in 20 years. The Plans tour follows Death Cab’s big celebration of the 20th anniversary of Transatlanticism and The Postal Service’s Give Up.
