Chuck D announces solo album ‘Radio Armageddon’: hear “New Gens” ft Daddy-O

Public Enemy‘s Chuck D has announced a new solo album, Radio Armageddon, which will be out May 18 via Def Jam. The album is technically credited to “Chuck D Presents Enemy Radio,” and features contributions from Daddy-O of Stetsasonic, Schoolly D, Phill Most Chill, Donald D and Jazzy Jay of the Universal Zulu Nation, 1/2 Pint, ULTRAMAG7, and Miranda Writes, plus The Impossebulls and Blak Madeen, who are both signed to Chuck’s own SpitSLAM Records.
The first single is “New Gens,” a dense, jazzy track that features Daddy-O and has Chuck addressing the current wave of rappers. You can watch the video for “New Gens” below.
