Brief ‘Final Destination: Bloodlines’ Clip Harkens Back to the Logging Truck

Those who survived the Final Destination 25th anniversary deathstream on Bloody Disgusting’s YouTube channel yesterday were treated to an exclusive peek at Final Destination: Bloodlines.

In the brief clip below, Kaitlyn Santa Juana (“The Flash”), Teo Briones (“Chucky”), and Rya Kihlstedt (“Dexter”) learn to stay away from logging trucks in a Final Destination movie.

Richard Harmon (“The 100”), Owen Patrick Joyner (“Julie and the Phantoms”), Anna Lore (“Doom Patrol”), Brec Bassinger (“Stargirl”), and late horror legend Tony Todd also star in the first new Final Destination film in fourteen years.

Directed by Zach Lipovsky & Adam Stein (Freaks), the sixth installment in the franchise will take audiences back to the very beginning of Death’s twisted sense of justice.

Plagued by a violent recurring nightmare, college student Stefanie heads home to track down the one person who might be able to break the cycle and save her family from the grisly demise that inevitably awaits them all.

Guy Busick (Scream 5, Scream 6) and Lori Evans Taylor (Cellar Door) penned the script. Franchise producers Craig Perry and Sheila Taylor produce alongside Jon Watts (Spider Man: No Way Home), who also shares story credit.

Final Destination: Bloodlines opens in theaters on May 16 from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros.
