Bon Iver shares “If Only I Could Wait” ft. Danielle Haim & “Walk Home”
”For the second look into ’fABLE,’ it couldn’t be a single; it had to be a double,” Justin Vernon says.

Bon Iver‘s first album in 6 years, SABLE, fABLE, arrives next month, and he’s given us two more early tastes with “If Only I Could Wait,” a duet with Danielle Haim, and “Walk Home.” “For the second look into fABLE, it couldn’t be a single; it had to be a double,” Justin Vernon says. “First, ‘Walk Home’ is a romp where you can’t wait to pull your clothes off fast enough and jump inside bed with your one true lover. And then – the two of singles – ‘If Only I Could Wait.’ A duet. A bilateral crying question. How long can the two of us hang on to each other?”
SABLE, fABLE is out on April 11, and also features Dijon and Flock of Dimes. You can pre-order it now on black & salmon vinyl or cassette.
Haim also returned this week with their first new music since 2023.
