Bloody Disgusting, Paramount Scares & Street Food Cinema Partner for ‘Friday the 13th’ Anniversary Event!

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the release of the original horror classic Friday the 13th, and we’re thrilled to announce a one-of-kind special event this coming June.

45 years ago today, a horror icon was born. Now we’re bringing him back…

Street Food Cinema (SFC), Los Angeles’ largest outdoor cinema series, is joining forces with Paramount Scares and Bloody Disgusting on Friday, June 13 for the very special Friday the 13th anniversary event, and TICKETS ARE ON SALE RIGHT NOW!

In celebration of the iconic horror film’s 45th anniversary, fans are invited to The Autry Museum in Griffith Park (4700 Western Heritage Way, Los Angeles, CA 90027) for an unforgettable evening honoring Jason Voorhees and all things spooky.

Guests can look forward to themed photo ops, swag giveaways, spooky marketplace, interactive horror trivia, and more to be announced.

A lineup of LA’s favorite food trucks will be on-site, offering delicious eats for purchase, alongside a full bar serving specialty cocktails inspired by the film.

Doors open at 8pm and programming starts at 10pm. General Admission Tickets are $25 while VIP Tickets are $40 and include early admission and stadium chair seating in reserved section. The Reserved section is premium seating in front of the screen, which is exclusively for Reserved ticket holders. You may arrive at any time. Seating is first come, first serve for both General Admission and Reserved sections. Chairs are not included.

Originally released on this day (May 9th) in 1980, Friday the 13th tells the terrifying story of a group of counselors at a remote summer camp who are stalked by an unseen killer as a dark secret from the camp’s past comes to light. The film became a landmark in the horror genre, launching a legendary franchise that has thrilled audiences for decades.
