The galaxy’s deadliest hunter is heading back to Earth — and this time, it’s animated, brutal, and bolder than ever.
20th Century Studios has officially announced Predator: Killer of Killers, an all-new original animated action-adventure film set in the legendary Predator universe, set to debut exclusively on Hulu on June 6, 2025. The first look and poster for the project dropped today, giving fans a taste of the blood-soaked mayhem to come.
Directed by Prey’s Dan Trachtenberg, and co-directed by Josh Wassung of The Third Floor (known for their cutting-edge previs and animation work), Killer of Killers reimagines the Predator mythos through an anthology lens, blending historical warfare with sci-fi horror in jaw-dropping style.
History’s Fiercest Warriors Meet Their Match
The film follows three of history’s most elite killers as they find themselves face-to-face with an enemy far beyond their understanding. A Viking raider leads her son on a vengeance-fueled journey through blood and ice. A ninja from feudal Japan betrays his samurai brother in a deadly battle for power. And a WWII fighter pilot discovers something unnatural lurking in the skies — and it’s not from this world.
Each of them is deadly in their own right, but when the ultimate predator arrives, the hunters become the hunted.

A Bold New Chapter for the Franchise
With a screenplay by Micho Robert Rutare and a story by Trachtenberg and Rutare, Killer of Killers dives deep into the Predator universe’s potential, pushing the boundaries of genre and animation. This marks a rare move for the franchise into adult animation, promising R-rated thrills with an anime-meets-graphic-novel aesthetic that’s already generating buzz.
The film is produced by Predator franchise veteran John Davis, alongside Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, and Ben Rosenblatt. Executive producers include franchise creators James E. Thomas and John C. Thomas, ensuring authenticity for longtime fans.

Online reactions to the first look have already begun lighting up social feeds, with fans calling it “Love, Death & Robots meets Predator,” and praising the franchise’s shift toward ambitious, genre-bending storytelling.
Whether you’re a longtime fan of the Yautja or just here for the hyper-stylized carnage, Predator: Killer of Killers is shaping up to be one of the summer’s wildest streaming events.
Mark your calendars: June 6. Hulu. The hunt begins.
