SummerStage 2025 free show lineup

SummerStage has announced its 2025 lineup of free shows, happening in parks throughout the five boroughs of NYC from May through October.

Free SummerStage shows in Central Park include Marcus Miller, Tank and the Bangas and The Soul Rebels (6/4); The Aussie BBQ with Flewnt and Inkabee, Gordi, Grace Cummings, and more (6/14); Rhiannon Giddens and Lido Pimienta (6/25); Charlotte Day Wilson and The Weather Station (7/2); Cymande, Asha Puthli, Zacchae’us Paul presents Jazz Money, and K.Tea (7/23); Jessica Pratt, Cameron Winter, and Daryl Johns (7/24); Femi Kuti & The Positive Force, dead prez, Rich Medina, and Maryam Bukar Hassan (7/27); The Originals ft. Rich Medina, Stretch Armstrong and Tony Touch (8/10); and Soccer Mommy, Hurray for the Riff Raff, and Dummy (9/16).

Other free SummerStage shows include the Gil Scott Heron Festival (6/13 at St. Mary’s Park); Lettuce and Styles P (6/14 at Coney Island Amphitheater); Big Freedia, Courtney “Balenciaga” Washington’s MasterZ, and DJ Golden (7/10 at Herbert Von King Park); Laila!, Sasha Keable, and Talia Goddess (7/11 at Herbert Von King Park); MIKE‘s fifth Young World festival with Roc Marciano & The Alchemist and more (7/12 at Herbert Von King Park); The Roots (7/20 at Flushing Meadows Corona Park); NEMS presents GORILLAFEST (7/26 at Coney Island Amphitheater); Hip Hop Appreciation Park Jam and Barbecue, curated by Doug E. Fresh and Funk Flex (8/1 at Crotona Park); Rakim, Positive K, Joe Ski Love, Nice & Smooth, and DJ Chubby Chub, hosted by Ralph McDaniels (8/9 at Stapleton Waterfront Park); The Soapbox Presents Run it Back: An Ode to the Art of the Sample (8/16 at Marcus Garvey Park); and Blacktronica Festival: Black Quantum Futurism ft Moor Mother & Rasheedah Phillips, Vijay Iyer, Shana Redmond & LaFrae Sci, Joy Guidry & Niecy Blues, Sonic Messengers, and King Britt (8/17 at Marcus Garvey Park).
