Thunderbolts* Post-Credit Scene Details Leak And Explain The Asterisk | SPOILERS

It appears the Thunderbolts* post-credit scene details have leaked and they explain that asterisk finally. Folks, there’s undeniable SPOILERS here. Not for the actual plot of the film itself. However, knowing what’s in the stinger does carry some plot baggage in.

Thunderbolts* Post-Credit SPOILERS Below

According to rumors spread online by those who have seen the film, Thunderbolts* has a mid-credit and a post-credit scene. It seems that what I describe below is the post-credit scene. I’m hearing the mid-credits one is short and played for laughs. Not really worth getting into. However….

The scene described shows the Thunderbolts* chilling in their new home, i.e. Avengers Tower. It becomes clear that the team are now the New Avengers, hence the asterisk. They discuss whether they can use the name because Sam Wilson is also said to be building a new Avengers team. They say he’s suing them for using Avengers, so they debate putting a z at the end instead of s. However, they are distracted by the Fantastic Four arriving in a space ship. We don’t know if we actually see the FF, or we just see their ship arriving, but apparently the big 4 on the side makes it obvious who it is.

Bob, aka Sentry is with the team at this point by the way. I won’t say anymore about his side though, or who else is there.

Currently there are a ton of glowing reports on social media about Thunderbolts*. As you know, this kinda always happens, and then when the reviews hit, less enthusiasm.

It certainly does not spoil the film for me. Though, I think the plot of Thunderbolts* is easily espied just looking at the trailer.
