The Linda Lindas have been on a spring tour supporting last year’s No Obligation, which hit NYC on Tuesday night for a show at Brooklyn Steel. They played all of the new album and a few older favorites (their breakout 2021 song “Racist Sexist Boy” included), and like they have been through this tour, they did a few well-chosen covers, including Talking Heads’ “Found a Job,” recent tourmates Green Day’s “When I Come Around,” veteran Chilean rock band Los Prisioneros‘ “Tren al sur,” and their long-covered Bikini Kill’s “Rebel Girl,” which ended the night and which Pinkshift, who opened the show, joined them on.
