As co-founders of the legendary Circus Records, bass music luminaries Doctor P and Flux Pavilion recently celebrated the release of their first-ever album together, a project which had been marinating throughout their twenty-year friendship. The 14-track retro-future album is a genre mashup rooted in dubstep, with elements of bass music and touches of “90s-disco-meets-nightmare groove”, with their trademark earth-shattering drops throughout.

Don’t miss the duo’s North American tour starting in June, spanning the US and multiple stops in Canada. All photos courtesy of @BRXVN and Fionna Garden.

“Ultra 2025, Sunday, a day to remember for anyone there.

When we started working on our album over a year ago we instantly thought it would be perfect to drop it during Ultra Music Festival, come a full circle and celebrate on one of the stages our careers started out on. We knew it would be memorable, but not like this. The weather came in. If there’s one thing Miami does hard, it’s tropical storms, we’d never seen anything like it. The moment we got backstage the festival was evacuated, then the wait was on, time ticked by, we thought it was over, we started to pack up and prepare to head back to the boat, we were devastated. Then, out of nowhere, the stage manager started waving frantically… It was back on, we had 30 minutes.

What followed was probably the most energetic set we’ve ever played. It was incredible, people running in, the rain still coming down (still hard), everyone dancing from the first beat, it was unreal. Thanks Ultra fam, you gave us the perfect moment, one we’ll never forget.”
