Michael J. Fox Returns In “Shrinking” S3

Actor Michael J. Fox has signed on to play a significant role in the third season of the Jason Segel and Harrison Ford-led Apple TV+ dramedy series “Shrinking”.

The project marks Fox’s return to acting and first TV role in five years. He last reprised his “The Good Wife” role of shady attorney Louis Canning in two episodes of “The Good Fight” in 2020.

Specifics of his new role are under wraps, but could be connected to Harrison Ford’s therapist Paul Rhoades who has been dealing with diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease since the first season.

Fox has been battling the condition for over three decades. Fox starred as the lead in “Shrinking” co-creator Bill Lawrence’s first series “Spin City” and won an Emmy for his work there.

He also work on other Lawrence projects like “Clone High” and “Scrubs” while he has also had notable guest appearances on “Rescue Me,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Designated Survivor” and an Emmy winning one on “Boston Legal”.

Other new editions for the third season include Jeff Daniels as Jimmy’s dad, Sherry Cola and Isabella Gomez.
