Phillip “MowtenDoo” Fortunat, chief marketing officer at VShojo and one of its co-founder, announced he would leave the company. He started the organization alongside CEO Justin “Gunrun” Ignacio and COO Daniel “Apek” Sanders in November 2020. In the official notice, he stated the reason involved an opportunity to “explore new creative endeavors.” In the announcement, Fortunat noted this is a voluntary decision. He also noted he was proud of the work with the company and working alongside individuals. He also called this a chance “to embark on a new chapter of creative fulfillment.” The statement also closed with the phrase, “See you soon.” This could suggest that, while MowtenDoo is leaving VShojo, he could remain in the streaming or gaming industry.
