Liam Gallagher has responded to Doves‘ new album posters that joke about new Oasis material.
The posters began popping up in Manchester’s Northern Quarter last week featuring a “fill in the blanks” puzzle alongside the question “Which chart-topping Mancunian band is releasing new music in 2025?”, alongside a five-letter word ending in “s”.
Clues below the word include “Two brothers”, “2025 UK tour”, “Formed in the 90s” and “Multiple #1 albums” – all things relevant to both Oasis and Doves, who both announced reunion tours for 2025.
The posters are in promotion of Doves’ new album ‘Constellations For The Lonely’, which was released on Friday (February 28) and featured the singles ‘Renegade’, ‘Cold Dreaming’, ‘Saint Theresa’ and ‘A Drop In The Ocean’.
Of course, they’ve drawn attention given the speculation surrounding a potential new Oasis album following the announcement of their colossal 2025 reunion tour.
Spotted in the Northern Quarter.
