Full Trailer For Kidnapping Action Thriller DIABLO From Lionsgate

Lionsgate has released a trailer for their kidnapping action thriller, Diablo, starring Scott Adkins as Kris Chaney, a recently released ex-convict who embarks on a perilous mission. He kidnaps Elisa, daughter of Vicente, a powerful gangster, which puts them in danger from "El Corvo," a psychopathic killer seeking revenge against Vicente's family. Marko Zaror co-stars as "El Corvo," and the cast includes Alanna De La Rossa, Diana Hoyos, Lucho Velasco, and Juan Camilo Castillo. The film is directed by Ernesto Dìaz Espinoza (Mirageman, Kiltro, Mandrill, Redeemer), from a screenplay written by Mat Sansom; based on a story by Mat Sansom, Scott Adkins, Marko Zaror, Ernesto Díaz Espinoza.The full synopsis reads: “After his release from prison, one man makes it his mission to right a terrible wrong by revealing a secret that might end up taking his life. “Scott Adkins stars as Kris Chaney, a warrior who seizes the daughter of a Colombian gangster to fulfill a noble promise to the young girl's mother. “When her father enlists both the criminal underworld and the terrifying psychotic killer El Corvo (Marko Zaror) to exact his revenge, Kris will need to draw upon everything he has ever learned – in and out of lockup – to stay alive and keep his word to her mother.”This looks a little cheesy, but it does seem to have a fair amount of solid action packed in, so it could be a fun watch. Check out the trailer below, and watch Diablo in select US theaters and on VOD on June 13th.
