FKA twigs postpones North American shows over visa issues
These were to have been twigs first official stateside shows since 2019.
FKA twigs was scheduled to begin the North American leg of her Eusexua tour in Chicago tonight (3/25), but she’s been forced to postpone those shows, as well as Toronto and NYC, due to visa issues. She addressed the move in a series of videos on her Instagram story, saying, “Today I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform. By no choice of my own I will have to pull out of my New York, Chicago, and Toronto shows.”
“I’m looking into how and why this happened and I’m making sure that I have the support to correct this,” she continued, “So with that being said, I will be rescheduling these shows, and information will be coming on that very shortly. I can’t wait to bring Eusexua to you.” Watch her full message below.
These were to be twigs’ first official US shows since 2019, though she’s done other events and appearances since then, including a rave at Market Hotel in January.
twigs has been paying homage to one of Eusexua‘s biggest influences, Madonna’s “Vogue,” at her shows so far this month – watch video of that from the tour opener in Paris below.
