Quentin Tarantino’s abandoned “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” spinoff focused on Brad Pitt’s Cliff Booth may have come back to life courtesy of David Fincher and Netflix.
If the film gets made, Fincher will direct from Tarantino’s original script, with Netflix footing the bill and subsequently having it exclusively. It would be the first Tarantino-related project to be released solely via streaming services, something possible only because he isn’t directing it himself — and because of Fincher’s Netflix deal.
